CBTech In Sweden
Located in the extreme cold of northern Sweden, Aitik 36 is the largest copper mine in Europe.
CBT supplied all the belts and was in charge of the Overland Conveyor skid.
Main Achievements
CBT supplied all the belts including 9,500 meters of an ST 6000 conveyor belt in 2134 mm. He supplied all the pulleys for this project in conjunction with RAS.
CBT was in charge of the Overland Conveyor slide,
system with a steep slope using the CBT Belt Clamping System and splice the ST 6000 in record time (18 hours for a splice 6 meters long) with a team made up of Swedish, Peruvian, Chilean and Canadian labor.
