At Cerro Verde, the largest copper mine in Peru, CBT carried out the installation and splicing of all the belts for this project, which include an ST 3500 in 1800 mm with an inclination close to 14°

CBT was in charge of the expansion of the primary sulphides plant in 2006.
CBT carried out the installation and splicing of all the belts for this project, which include an ST 3500 in 1800 mm with an inclination close to 14°.
For this CBT used Peruvian labor with supervision from Chile and its CBT Belt Clamping System team.
CBT supplied all the pulleys for this project in conjunction with the Canadian manufacturer RAS.
CBT performs all the maintenance of conveyor belts in this area, from its facilities in the city of Arequipa.
CBT participates in the predictive maintenance of this mine using the CBT Belt C.A.T. Scan on all steel cord straps.
