It is said that any journey, no matter how long, begins with a single step. In this case, in the replacement of the conveyor belts CV-236 and CV-103 at Minera Escondida Chile.

It was not just any trip, but one that we were able to document in all its stages and we feel very proud to have been able to carry out this task, with the commitment of all our professionals.

Among all that we have done, we can highlight:

1) We finished maintenance 26 hours ahead of the original projected schedule at just 100 hours.

2) Change of 7500 m of tape in 10 hours.

3) Closing splice in a record time of 22 hours.

We all return home safely to our families and with a sense of accomplishment that can only be described as truly remarkable. This trip was an amazing experience that we will never forget.
